Dulux Paints is helping to celebrate the agricultural and cultural heritage of Simcoe County in southern Ontario with colourfully painted barn quilt squares dotting the countryside.

Our local Dulux Paints store is proud to provide the paint used to create the Simcoe County Barn Quilt Trail in southern Ontario.
This quilt trail is a tour composed of a series of trails wandering around the beautiful countryside of Simcoe County to celebrate agriculture in the area. The quilt squares along the trail tell stories of local history, tourism, agriculture, family traditions and heritage.
Barns and implement sheds play ‘host’ to these colourful, larger than life quilt squares. The trail will traverse the whole county: from Bradford West Gwillimbury to Collingwood to Ramara to Severn, with the goal to complete 25 quilts by the end of 2017 with a total of 150 quilts county wide by the end of 2019.
This initiative has been put together by the County of Simcoe and the Simcoe County Federation of Agriculture, with the original idea to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Canada’s Confederation. The Barn Quilt Trail will highlight the county’s beautiful farms and landscape to tourists and locals alike.
